As of February 1, 2026, I have retired and am no longer breeding Long Coat German Shepherds. Consequently, I will no longer be offering guarantees on any puppies or dogs. All future purchases will be made on an "as is" basis.
The following is for your information:
Please keep your puppy safe. There are diseases found to have been brought on or contributed by the Purchaser, because of poor diet, contact with another animal, contaminated soil, or any other contributing factor. Your puppy is not fully vaccinated until he/she has had all series of his/her puppy vaccinations. This is usually completed when the puppy is 16 weeks of age. Some people will take their puppies to Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, dog parks, and more. I recommend keeping your puppy home, around dogs you know, until he has had all his/her puppy vaccinations so he/she does not contract parvo, kennel cough or any type of virus that may be going around.
This puppy has received all necessary vaccinations for its age and has been on a de-worming program. No matter how careful a person may be, parasites and viruses can be picked up anywhere. Puppies are naturally at risk for coccidia, giardia and worms, which are often brought on by the stress of a new home, new food, new people, or just a change in the environment. Viral, bacterial colds or infections such as Coccidia or Giardia (bloody stools) are a form of parasites which are easily treated.
Seller agrees to provide purchaser the American Kennel Club certificate of registration for said puppy/dog. Your puppy/dog will be registered with our Calico Junction German Shepherds kennel name of "Calico’s (female call name you pick for puppy) Vom Lieb or Calico’s (male call name you pick for puppy) Von Der Lieb.
Purchaser agrees to give seller 30 days’ notice of intent to sell said puppy/dog and first right of refusal to purchase the puppy/dog at the original purchase price to the buyer. If I, seller, refuse the right to purchase puppy/dog I will help purchaser find a new home for this puppy/dog.
Purchaser agrees never to sell this puppy/dog or any progeny thereof, to research laboratories, dog dealers, or animal rescue/ shelters.
Upon completion of this sale, the breeder assumes no responsibility for this puppy/dog for any reason be they medical expenses (animal or human), landlord disapproval, allergy to animals or family disagreements. These puppies/dogs have been socialized with other dogs, animals and humans therefore upon completion of this sale the breeder will not be responsible for temperament, hair coat, length of hair coat or overall appearance of said puppy/dog. Once the puppy/dog leaves the breeder's premises, the buyer is solely responsible for this puppy/dog. It shall be further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to this puppy/dog, except that which is stated in this sale receipt - agreement of purchase.
Any and all deposits, made in good faith for the purchase of this puppy/dog, are non-refundable. Any puppy/dog sold by Calico Junction German Shepherds is considered a pet and are not sold as breeding or show quality animals unless specified in writing below in the addendum section.
This is a sales receipt – agreement of purchase. By signing below, it is acknowledged that all parties clearly understand all aspects of this sales receipt-agreement of purchase.
All sales are final, no refunds.
After deposits or payments are made for a puppy/dog, there will be a $5 day charge for all puppies/dogs not picked up within five days following the puppy turning eight weeks of age or within five days from the day of deposit on an older puppy/dog unless other arrangements have been made.
