New Puppy Owner Checklist

Certain foods and household products can be dangerous to dogs

It has been discovered that some sugar free foods contain XYLITOL.
XYLITOL will kill your dog.  I know it is found in some peanut butters.
Please protect you family member.
Check ingredients to make sure what you are feeding your dog does not have XYLITOL in it or any other harmful ingredients.
I would hate to see anyone with a huge vet bill and a loss of a loved family member.

Chocolates are a staple and while it is a great snack for humans, it is toxic to our furry family members.  If you notice any tremors, hyper-activity, vomiting or diarrhea and suspect your pet has gotten into your chocolates please consult your veterinarian immediately as these may be warning signs related to chocolate toxicity.   Be safe and keep chocolate out of reach so you can love your pet for many years.
