Update on Mary aka Terra
Hi Nancy. I just wanted to write to you to say how happy we are with our new puppy Terra. Having owned dogs my entire life I can honestly say that she has the makings of being the best one of them all. She is 9 months now and really looks like a dog, not a puppy, now. Of course she is beautiful, I can’t tell you how often I get stopped when I am taking her for a walk. She does her job in protecting the house but once she understands that my friends are “good” she is extremely friendly. She has taken to Frisbee and that makes me very very happy, we both really enjoy it. Despite being a puppy she is a very calm dog as you had predicted. When she is not playing she is nearly always lying at my feet. But what was the best surprise of all was the lack of hair. It is amazing, the hair comes off when brushed but I’ve never had a shepherd where you can’t pull loose hair off their back at any point in the year. When we had our last dog, a shepherd/collie, we had hair balls in every corner of the house. Not so with Terra and this was really surprising. Anyway thanks for all your help in matching us with Terra. We’ll be calling you again, but hopefully not for many years. Dave and Laura

Isaiah is my pick of litter. When matrue he will be a beautiful long coat. My long coats have an undercoat that helps keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. You can't go wrong with this guy. He would be great for your breeding program.

_Nancy: The Lord certainly works in mysterious ways. When we talk next I'll be happy to explain. Isaiah arrived just after midnight -- he slept with me although I didn't get but 30 minutes or so of sleep; he slept just fine. He's beautiful and although I couldn't find SportMix, he ate Taste of the Wild just fine. Did you send that package of food along? I wasn't sure so I didn't feed it to him. He and I woke the house up this morning at 5 and now he's full of energy. Although it's only been 6 hours since his arrival, I couldn't have made a better choice; again, Providence. _Hi Nancy: Just a week one update on my buddy. He's the most intelligent dog I've owned. I couldn't imagine being much more satisfied than I am. He slept with me the first 2 nights and now he prefers being on the floor at the foot of my bed -- that works for me. Three trips out a night is down to one. He's eating well and sleeps well. I took him to Petsmart on Saturday to buy a few items; the shopping took me 10 minutes -- the pictures and hugs by customers and staff took another 20 minutes. He was a rockstar. My next trip there I'm going solo. We took our first trail walk yesterday with my 2 grandsons. It reminded me of the intro to The Andy Griffith Show. He got his first bath afterwards and behaved well through the process. The vet. visit went well; he'll get his second distemper shot in 2 weeks. So, thanks! We made the best choice; the Lord continues to bless us. May he do the same for you. -- Chris
I am sure I will be with my dad for quiet a while, but that is okay. My dad will teach me a lot. Don't be afraid to inquire about me if you think I would be a good family member. I have been to the doctors and he gave me a clean bill of health. I am up to date on vaccinations and on a de-worming schedule. I could make more of me when I get older if you want me to be a daddy. I'd like to be a daddy. My dad stands 27 inches at his shoulders and weighs about 130 pounds. He is not done growing and I just might catch up to him. Doc says I am the biggest out of all my brothers and sisters. I think I am the most gorgeous. My hair will be long and I love to be brushed. That will be great, I am just going to get better looking as I get older. Come visit with me. See if you like me.
